General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for ski and splitboard tours and courses organised by Radical Sports AG

1. Fundamentals
Radical Sports AG organises tours, courses and other off-piste winter sports events. For the sake of simplicity, the term ‘tours’ is used below. The tours are led by experienced and qualified guides who are either employed directly by Radical Sports AG or work as external guides.

2. Quality
We place the highest value on quality, both in professional and human terms. Our partners and guides are highly trained and have extensive experience.

3. Touring Registration
Registration for our tours and courses is confirmed by e-mail and is then considered binding. This confirmation is usually sent within 24 hours on working days.

4. Hire of material
Participants have the option of hiring Radical splitboards, touring skis or avalanche transceivers. The equipment is regularly serviced and provided in perfect condition. In principle, the hire equipment must be collected and returned to Radical, unless it is brought directly to the tour. Participants who bring and return the hire equipment for everyone will receive a reduction of CHF 50.- on the tour.

Normal wear and tear and minor damage are included in the hire price. However, repairs or replacements due to negligent behaviour on the part of the participant will be charged.

5. Conditions of participation
Good health and CE-compliant equipment are required for all tours and courses. The fitness and technical requirements specified in the programme must be met. If these are not met, Radical Sports AG or the responsible guide may exclude the participant from the tour. In this case there will be no refund.

6. Payment
Payment can be made either in advance by bank transfer or directly via our website using the usual payment options (credit card, PayPal, etc.). 2-3 days before the tour, participants will be informed by e-mail that the tour has been organised. If payment has not yet been made, the account details and the amount due will be communicated in this e-mail. The payment deadline is 5 days after confirmation of the tour.

7. Insurance
Personal insurance cover is the responsibility of the participants. Participation is at the participant’s own risk. Participants must ensure that they have adequate insurance cover themselves, in particular for accidents and rescue. Any existing illnesses or safety-related medication must be reported to the responsible tour leader/mountain guide before the tour.

8. Liability
Radical Sports AG accepts no liability for damages. We only work with trustworthy and well-trained partners, but the risk assessment and bearing of the risk lies with the commissioned company and/or the guide.

9. Accompaniment of the tours by helpers
On certain tours, Radical Sports employees or helpers will accompany the tour. These escorts have no decision-making authority and no risk management. Their task is to bring up the rear and help with technical problems or questions. No liability can be transferred to the accompanying persons.

10. Protection of personal data
Our privacy policy applies.

11. Cancellation by participant
Cancellations are free of charge up to 48 hours before the tour, unless otherwise stated. After that, a fee of CHF 100 will be charged. In the event of no-shows or cancellations on the same day, 100% of the course fee is due. If a participant cancels the tour prematurely, the full package price is due. If the tour includes an overnight stay or other pre-booked costs, the participant must pay their share.

b) If the conditions in the tour area are inadequate and no suitable alternative can be found. In this case, the participant will receive a voucher for another tour of their choice. If this is not acceptable, any amounts already paid will be fully refunded.
