The Splitpin is built on the basis of an innovative ski touring boot. By combining ski touring boot quality and snowboard feel, it offers the best of both worlds. The collaboration with Dalbello complements the experience gained from the practice of splitboarding with many years of expertise in ski touring boot production. The Quantum Asolo offers the ideal starting point for a split boot. After various adjustments and intensive testing in the snow, the shaft was adapted to achieve the optimum result of a unique splitboard boot with an exceptional soft boot feeling on the descent.

Advantages:

  • Lightweight and robust
  • Relaxed and effortless ascent
  • More metres in altitude and distance with the same effort

  • Outstanding downhill performance with more precise power transmission

Disadvantages:

  • Less comfort when walking compared to soft boots
  • Possible pressure points that can be removed with a boot fitting for a fee
