Sustainability at Radical: Durability and Responsibility

Sustainability is not just a trend for us, but a fundamental part of our philosophy. We are aware that carbon is not the most environmentally friendly material.

However, by combining carbon with other high-quality materials, we create a product of exceptional durability.

This durability means that our skis and snowboards can be used for many years, significantly reducing their ecological footprint compared to short-lived alternatives. For us, this is a key aspect of sustainability: creating products that last and don’t need to be replaced quickly.

All of our suppliers are located within approximately eight hours by car. This significantly reduces transport distances and the associated emissions.

We also practice sustainability in our daily lives: All Radical employees either bike or walk to work. Cars are used only in exceptional cases, and some of our employees forgo cars entirely, relying instead on public transportation.

Of course! All employees come to work in an environmentally friendly manner, either by bike or on foot, with cars used only in exceptional cases. When freeriding, we rely on sustainable equipment, leave no waste behind, and travel using public transportation. This way, we actively contribute to protecting nature—for ourselves and future generations.
Barrier-free

“Barrier-free” means that every individual can access, navigate, and independently and safely use everything within a living space designed to be barrier-free, largely without needing external assistance.

Our website is also barrier-free. We aim to keep our tours as accessible as possible. Barriers can also exist in the mind, and we strive to avoid those as well.

Exploring in the sun, snow, and open nature under expert guidance significantly contributes to a mindful awareness of the body and leaves not only tracks in the snow.
