Baseline

Tail: The tail of the snowboard.
Tip: The nose or front of the board.
Camber: Referred to as positive camber, it describes the natural curvature of a snowboard or ski when not under load. Camber is a key factor when choosing the right ski or snowboard.
Rocker: Referred to as negative camber. We use tip and tail rocker, which shortens the effective edge length. This makes the snowboard/splitboard more agile and easier to maneuver, making it more forgiving of mistakes. The rocker also improves float in soft snow, while the existing camber in the middle ensures good control.
Materials
We place great importance on sustainability and ensure that every step—from material selection to packaging—respects both people and the environment. Our Radical models are handmade, with local wood cores and short transportation distances.

Grandioses Board !! ☆☆☆☆☆
Ich habe seit Jahren mit diesem Board geliebäugelt und bin nun super happy damit. Das schlichte aber geniale Design ist sooo schön – das kann das ganze Jahr im Wohnzimmer hängen und sieht in jedem Lichtwinkel etwas anders aus – krass. Belag und Kanten fühlen sich super an. Zudem fährt es toll – geschmeidig und weich bei langsamer Fahrt aber sobald etwas Tempo und etwas Torsion und Spannung drauf kommt, geht das scharf und zieht wie eine Schiene durch den Schnee.
– wer ein grandioses Board mit Hammer Optik, bester Verbreitung und super Fahreigenschaften für alle Bereiche sucht, wird mit dem Rider sicherlich sehr glücklich !!

Ich bin absolut begeistert von meinem neuen „Rider“ Snowboard! Die Verarbeitung ist top, und das Board fährt sich super stabil und agil. Es fühlt sich sowohl auf weichem Powder als auch auf härteren Pisten perfekt an. Besonders gefällt mir die gute Qualität und natürlich das Zeitlose schöne Design. Awesome Board!! ☆☆☆☆☆
I’ve been eyeing this board for years, and now I’m super happy with it. The simple yet brilliant design is just stunning – it could hang in the living room all year round, and it looks different depending on the light – incredible! The base and edges feel fantastic. Plus, it rides amazingly – smooth and soft at low speeds, but as soon as you pick up some speed and add torsion and tension, it carves sharply and glides through the snow like it’s on rails.
If you’re looking for an outstanding board with a killer look, top-notch craftsmanship, and excellent riding performance in all conditions, the Rider will definitely make you happy!

Ein Top-Snowboard, das wendig ist und trotzdem die nötige Laufruhe bei hohem Tempo behält. Der Belag gleitet sehr gut, was hohe Geschwindigkeiten zulässt. Auch im Powder sehr angenehm zu fahren. Mit dem nötigen Kraftaufwand auch für eine eher leichte Frau gut zu fahren. Mach super Spass!

I drove it in the Alps, Caucasion and Japow and the board works perfect from hard slopes in Europe till to the tree freeride in Japow. My board for every situation, which is allways with me… and it keeps his characteristics & facts for several season (I only had to replace the snowboard after 7 seasons)

It is extremely versatile and has completely exceeded my expectations! It offers an optimum combination of stability and flexibility, which makes riding on any surface a pleasure.
I was particularly impressed by the grip on icy surfaces and the behaviour in deep snow. Even carving on the piste is really fun.

Es ist weniger aggressiv als ein 166 Double XX und, weil kürzer, wie viel wendiger, drehfreudiger und agiler als das Surf 180.
Genau das richtige Board, um auch mal entspannt schnell zu fahren. Auch Caving auf der Piste und Freeride.

182 cm/80 kg/ 168 wide. Gekauft als Allroundboard mit Schwerpunkt Piste/Carven/Skitour (daher die längste Version). Getestet an 3 Pistentagen und auf einer Skitour mit Schneeschuhen im Aufstieg.
Piste: Das Brett läuft wirklich stabil und bietet bei höheren Tempo gute Kontrolle. Es zieht trotzdem sehr schön in die Kurve ein, sodass selbst die 168er Version enge Kurvenradien liefert. Bei unterschiedlichen Bedingungen (Normal, vereist, Sulz) musste ich nirgends Abstriche machen und habe einfach Freude mit der Gerät 🙂 Beim Spielen am Pistenrand und neben der Piste hatte ich das Gefühl von guter Stabilität und Kontrolle.
Im Funpark: Auch wenn ich z.B. mit Skifahrern unterwegs bin und eher carve, mache ich zur Abwechslung einfach gerne ein paar Fahrten durch den Fun Park und benötige dann ein Board, das auch bei kleinen Schanzen/Kickern liefert. Das trifft auf das Rider 3.0 zu. Dank der Wendigkeit kann man präzise und sicher anfahren und auch für getimte Landungen ist die Härte noch weich genug. Sicher nicht die Bestimmung des Boards, aber noch erstaunlich gut zu gebrauchen.
Skitour: Im Aufstieg mit Schneeschuhen ist das geringe Gewicht bei langen Touren ein kleiner Bonus. Das Board ist aussen am Rucksack und relativ weit vom Rücken entfernt, dadurch entfaltet eine geringere Masse weniger Fliehkräfte und baumelt nicht so stark. Die Abfahrt auf zerfahrenem Harschschnee hat selbst mit dem Rider 3.0 keinen grossen Spass gemacht, aber aus den schlechten Bedingungen liess sich noch das Beste rausholen und es hat sich vor allem sicher und kontrolliert angefühlt. Powder habe ich bisher leider noch nicht angetroffen.
Fazit: Sehr vielseitig und in jeder Disziplin stark, auch wenn ein guter Fahrer mit einem hochwertigen, spezialisierten Board in dessen Fachgebiet noch etwas mehr rausholen kann. Lohnend als langfristige, nachhaltige Anschaffung bei reger Nutzung, sonst zu kostspielig. Ich bin sehr glücklich mit dem Brett. Wenn ich unsicher bin, welche Bedingungen herrschen und was ich an einem Pistentag eigentlich machen möchte, liege ich mit dem Rider 3.0 nie falsch.
Einziges Manko: Um ein solche Brett sorgt man sich mehr und ärgert sich über jeden Kratzer. Daher nehme ich das Board ohne Tasche ungern im Zug/Bus mit, mache die Talabfahrt bei geringer Schneehöhe mit einem unguten Gefühl und lasse es in der Pause nicht gerne alleine stehen.
