Dear skiers

Since the age of three I have been enthusiastic about skiing and my passion for it grows from year to year. Shortly after Radical was founded in 1984, it was of great interest to me as a snowboard pioneer to use ski components for Radical snowboards. Later I began to develop skis with passion and to transfer my knowledge from snowboard construction to ski construction. Thanks to my training as a ski instructor, I was also able to better understand technology, physics and biomechanics and the demands they placed on skis, and I then incorporated these into the development of these. The goal was and is to create long-lasting and sustainable top skis for all snow conditions that offer as much fun as possible with the best performance. With our unique and very light carbon Kevlar wood construction, we have succeeded in creating top quality skis that meet these goals and are very popular. Since 15 years Radical produces beside its successful carbon snowboards also carbon skis with the same top quality in small series and as custom-made products.
To you, as loyal customers, I would like to say a heartfelt thank you for appreciating and appreciating our work. Without this valuable support Radical would never have come this far.

Novelties and collection 2018/2019
We have completely redesigned the Carver Ski, which is now available with a modern noble design and a damped aluminium rear protector. Together with the Semicap construction, the schooner provides excellent protection and makes it very impact resistant and durable. The new Carver is available in sizes 165 and 172 cm.
A highlight of the season are the “One of Ten” limited to ten pieces. The ski will be kept secret until 29 September. Only then will this special edition be presented for the first time at the start of the season and open day and the secret will be revealed. From September 29th, the competition will also start, where you can win a “One of Ten”. In the newsletter we will inform you about it in detail. So much in advance, this ski not only looks stunningly beautiful, but also rides like this. It can do everything – and how!
The 18/19 collection covers all common facets of skiing with a specially developed model: race carving, carving, all-round and freeriding. All skis are carefully handmade in our very light and durable carbon Kevlar wood construction in small quantities with the best materials. The upper edges, except for the Race Carver, are rounded at the sides and covered with carbon, fibreglass and a hard protective film. This so-called Semicap construction has proven itself and protects the skis better against shocks. On request, there is also a stainless chrome steel tip protector for better protection of the ski tips. A very fast and hard World Cup NHS graphite tread with Montana stone grinding makes our skis very gliding, easy to turn and fast.

In addition to our limited small series, we also develop and build your dream ski as a custom-made individual, in which all factors are optimally adapted to you and your needs. The result is the ultimate premium ski.
